All About The Box, Waltz, And - Lining Up! Pure Fun

Are YOU ready ... - to step OUT of the box?!

The Box Step

Step out of the box, think outside the box.....

Don’t stay closed in a box.....

Well, you gotta know what the box is before you can understand how to get out of it!!

********************************************

Join us in our exploration of the Box Step.....

Are you doing a Waltz?

Make sure to Rise and Fall and Stretch and Sway!!

Stretching up to your toes, then, gently compressing back down to your feet.....

Are you doing a Foxtrot?

Don’t forget about the Rhythm change and to keep your levels to two.....

Are you doing a Rumba?

Press into the floor and keep your torso steady, throw in some Latin hip action and maybe a little sass.....:))

The Box Step.....

So simple, yet, so complex!!

The Waltz.....

A Tale As Old As Time.....

The Prince extends his hand and offers her a dance

The new Princess.....

Graciously accepts

As he guides her to the dance floor, all eyes are on her

Beautiful as can be....

So regal but yet so pure....

A bow and a curtsy is the invitation to begin

He stands proud and she gently steps in

The pride so evident in the Prince’s demeanor

As he boasts his chest, shoulders pulled

back and stands as tall as he can......

The Princess seems to just float......

As she glides and sways and sweeps across the floor.....

The two together, a divine example of what it means to be a true woman

And a real man.....

The spectators are in awe as they stretch and extend.....

As they rise and fall

And, they dip and bend......

Before they know it, the dance comes to a close

This spectacle of all spectacles

A show of all shows......

Let’s Get Lined Up!!!!

Alright, let’s all face the same way

And, get in a line

But, watch your space.....

Must keep social distancing in mind!

No need for a partner

You can do this on your own....

Just follow the steps

Exactly as they’re shown....

Mind your timing and follow along

Just follow the rhythm in each new song....

Wall to wall and turn by turn

Each new dance, a new pattern to learn

It sneaks up on you just how easy it is

To sharpen your mind while the calories burn.....
